For many Sherborn-ites it was exciting to see someone new move into the little white "cottage" next to Eaton Apothecary/Walgreens. Dianne Sullivan opened the Plum Cottage this past weekend. It's a lovely shop, with beautiful fresh cut flowers, jewelry (I just picked up a pretty bead necklace!), botanicals, and handmade gifts. Dianne also has an artist studio offering lessons for children...Read More

I'm thrilled that Sherborn, Holliston, Hopkinton, and surrounding communities will soon have a great new addition in this area. The towns are working together to turn an abandoned rail bed into a 20-mile rail trail for biking, walking, cross-country skiing, roller blading, and other...Read More

I had a few minutes before my open house today to swing by Sherborn's Farm Pond to snap a few pictures of the sailboat races. The kind woman at the gate entrance told me "You have plenty of time. We haven't started yet." "Oh gosh," I said, "don't they start at noon?" She smiled: "Well, we're on Sherborn time here." So I decided to embrace her mindset, and enjoy a few extra minutes of sunshine...Read More
